My experimental results. Thin Layer Chromatography. Basically its a glass plate with silica gel on the surface. Various solutions containing different amino acids are added at the bottom. The amino acids travel along the matrix (silica gel) at different rates due to their polarity. The more polar it is, the more interactions it has with the matrix and the slower it travels. Pretty boring if you cared to ask. 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting time. Bleargh!
